Born Samuel Mwangi, preferably called DJ Lyta, is a renowned Kenyan DJ who has rocked the Kenyan street entertainment industry for close to a decade . He is acknowledged as one of Kenya’s outstanding DJ’S who have brought life to the art of mixing sound and entertaining a large audience.

Early Life

Born into a family of five children in which he falls second, DJ Lyta undertook his primary education at Bishop Mahianini Academy in Muranga and proceeded to Gituru High School for his secondary education. He then proceeded to Zetech University where he attained a diploma in Information Technology.

Musical Genesis

Initially, Mwangi had no passion for DJing, His initial sound mixing developed when he was a student at Zetech University. He started mixing various genres of music by using g the Virtual DJ software and resided he would be a very good sound mixer.

After this realizations, he joined Eagles Productions Studio, an audio recording company

He first came to limelight in 2012, when his street blasts started playing in most parts of matatus. His first hit mixtape consisting of various blends of top hit Hip Hop songs at that time.

He makes a great deal of money when launching gigs at events and occasions charging between US 100,00 to 500,000 per show

His personal life is held from the public as he prefers to remain silent on his personal issues regarding his age, family and relationship and networth.
