Janet Achieng Otieno popularly known as Janet Otiebo, is a highly acclaimed Kenyan gospel vocalist, and songwriter. Also acknowledged as the winner of Mwafaka Awards and nominated at Groove Awards for Collaboration of the Year on the song ‘Napokea Kwako‘ which featured Christiana Shusho from Tanzania.

Early Life and Musical Genesis

Born in Kisumu, Kenya, Janet is the first born of six children born to her parents. She gained interest in music in the year 2010 which moved her to release various songs thereafter which are meant to uplift the contrite hearts and crushed spirits alongside spreading the message of faith and love. In comparison with other gospel musicians, Janet began singing at church showcasing her unique lyrical streak.
