Jonzing World Records
Jonzing Records is an active business oriented record label from the depths of Nigeria founded by its recording artist, D’Prince on 22nd March 2019. This record label offers services such as musical recording, merchandising, audiovisual content, branding and management with it’s parent company, Mavin Global Holdings, a business arm owned by his brother, John Dazzy. His brother, the founder of Mavin Records, another talent academy seeking to manage promising artists like Rema, Ayra Starr and the like.
History of Jonzing records
On 22nd March, Charles Enebel D’Prince unleashed his record label and introduced himself as the founder of Jonzing World Records. He unveiled his first signee, Rema but was later welcome by his brother also the founder of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy. On the same day, Rema released his eponymous debut extended play, Rema, which peaked number one on Apple Music Nigeria.
On 19th January 2021, the label signed Ruger, through Sony Music West Africa with joint venture with Columbia Records and Sony Music with no affiliation with Mavin Records.
Gdzilla was added to his label in 2023 in March.
