Prominent in it’s music scene is it’s outstanding and vibrant music star by name Emmanuel Benjamin. Emmanuel Benjamin, better known by his stage name Eben, is a singer and songwriter born and bred in Nigeria.

JustHe delivers his music, that is, his style in the genres of Gospel, specifically Afrocentric pop. He has signed to the Hammer House of Rock record label of which he is the founder.

Early Life and Education

Eben as he is known as a musician, was born in Lagos, a state in Nigeria on September 9, 1979.

Eben is the fifth of six children born into a Christian family. He attended Oreile Primary School and continued to Oreile Community Grammar School in Oreile, Lagos.

During the commencement of his music journey in 1997, Eben started his music career as a rapper under the mentorship of his elder brother. Later in his journey, he discovered what he was purposed to deliver , so he diverged partially by moving his energy into Gospel Music.

He gained popularity in 2005 as a gospel singer after his first big public appearance at a youth conference organised by Pastor Chris where ‘Imarama’ was first heard.

In 2006, he was a member of Christ Embassy founded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

He released his debut album on, On the rock, which includes songs like Imaranma, God Dey, Iwo Nikan, Idon Hammer, and many others. He released another album, Phenomenon, which included songs like Super Man, Imela Papa, Siya Nma and several others.

Eben has a record label called Hammer House of Rock with a business branch called Hammer Arm Ventures, which specializes in video and music production, event management and interior decoration.

On November 30, 2013, Eben led to the altar his fellow gospel singer, Grace Okodiwa, also known as Jahdiel with whom he has three awesome kids. Jahdiel is also signed to Hammer House of Rock.
